Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Toy Turn. By subscribing to or renting from our service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Toy Turn

Toy Turn provides curated toy and book rental services for families. Our offerings include themed play boxes and individual toy rentals, designed to support meaningful, sustainable play.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe or rent.

  • A valid Singapore address is required for delivery and collection.

3. Rental Plans & Duration

Theme Box Subscription

  • Rentals are offered on a monthly subscription basis (28 days) 

  • Each subscription includes one theme box at a time, unless otherwise stated.

  • Rental period begins on the delivery date.

Individual Toy Rentals (if applicable)

  • Individual toys are rented for a fixed duration as stated on the website.

  • Availability is subject to stock.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

  • Subscription fees are payable in advance.

  • Delivery fees (to and from) are charged separately unless stated otherwise.

  • Toy Turn reserves the right to revise prices with prior notice.

5. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of $50 is required for all rentals.

  • The deposit amount will be communicated at checkout.

  • Deposits are refunded within 7–14 working days after items are returned, subject to inspection.

The deposit may be partially or fully withheld for:

  • Missing items or parts

  • Excessive damage beyond normal wear

  • Non-return of items

6. Care & Use of Items

Customers agree to:

  • Use toys as intended and age-appropriately

  • Supervise children during play

  • Keep toys clean and dry

  • Avoid exposure to water unless the toy is designed for water play

  • Keep toys away from pets, heat, and sharp objects

Normal wear and tear is expected and accepted.

7. Damage, Loss & Missing Items

  • Minor wear (scratches, paint wear) is acceptable.

  • If an item is damaged, lost, or missing, please notify us promptly.

  • Replacement or repair costs may be deducted from the deposit where necessary.

  • Fees will be reasonable and based on the replacement cost of the item or part.

8. Hygiene & Cleaning

  • All toys are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before delivery.

  • Customers are requested to wipe toys clean before return.

  • Please inform us if a toy has been exposed to illness, bodily fluids, or mould.

Toy Turn reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if items are returned in an unsanitary condition.

9. Returns & Exchanges

  • Items must be returned by the agreed return date.

  • Late returns will incur additional charge of $8 to be deducted from the deposit. 

  • For subscriptions, exchanges are arranged upon successful return of the current box.

10. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery and collection schedules will be communicated in advance.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive or hand over items.

  • Missed deliveries or collections will incur re-delivery fees of $8.

11. Cancellation & Pausing

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled or paused according to the plan selected.

  • No refunds are provided for partial months once a rental period has begun.

  • Long-term plans may be subject to minimum commitment periods.

12. Liability Disclaimer

Toy Turn is not liable for:

  • Any injury resulting from misuse of toys

  • Allergic reactions to toy materials

  • Loss or damage caused by improper use or supervision

Parents and caregivers are responsible for ensuring safe and appropriate play.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Toy Turn website, including guides, images, and branding, remains the property of Toy Turn and may not be reproduced without permission.

14. Changes to Terms

Toy Turn reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.
